HiTen Buildings is continuously improving design efficiencies in Cold Formed Metal Building Systems.
We are currently engineering new folded bracket designs for larger span buildings with slopes of 5%, 10%, 15%, 20% and 25%. The new bracket designs provide a clean look to the inside of the building and are currently undergoing testing. We believe these brackets should provide a reduction in apex and knee bracing in larger span sheds. Simultaneously, engineering is working on insulated panel designs. To our knowledge, HiTen is the first company to utilise the insulated panel’s shear loading attributes as bracing. Others simply fasten the insulated panels on top of the purlins and girts which means the frame is designed to stand up alone and is over engineered. HiTen’s design system will produce insulated panel designs, reducing the shed’s frame size and the quantity of purlins and girts. The end results will be a niche insulated shed system for the grow and produce markets that is cheaper and fast to install.
